Kristy VanBeek is Mixtapes Vocalist front woman. Kristy was born and raised in a small town in Southwest Michigan. She started singing at age 10, and her love for musical performance has grown exponentially ever since. In high school she participated in honor's choir and spent summers at vocal music training camps. During that time she found a fondness for a variety of musical genres spanning from old country to classic rock and modern hits. In 2010 Kristy joined a Michigan based band with her friends called "The Real Fantastics" which covered hits from Aretha Franklin, Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder, and The Four Tops(just to name a few). Kristy has performed at a variety of venues from hometown bars, music festivals, special events, and weddings.

    During her spare time Kristy enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as exploring the number of mountains and trails here in beautiful Arizona.

Kristy is currently working at a family practice as a Physicians Assistant in Chandler and has a passion for helping people improve their medical well being and lives of her patients.
